SLA Worldwide/ Project Staff – Management Strategy -media buyer

 Dr. Hamby has extensive experience providing executive leadership to both colleges and business. Most recently, as Vice President of Fisk University for the past ten years, she was in charge of media relations for the promotion of the university. She performed the planning and development of media campaigns, and developed and implemented integrated media buys for the university. This included media buys in newspapers and magazines, such as; The Scene, N-Focus, La Noticias, Tennessee Tribune, Tennessean, and Nashville Pride. She also purchased media in in-flight magazines, as well as newspapers across the country. 

Her television media buying experience includes working extensively with local Channels 17, 30, 58, 2, and 5; and Comcast cable channels. She has purchased posters in Metropolitan Nashville Airport and the Opryland Mall. Sr. hamby has worked with Clear Channel on the purchase of radio airtime, as well as Sirius. She has also purchased outdoors ads, bus ads, and has overseen social media campaigns on Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. 

Dr. Hamby performed similar duties and services in her role of Vice President Institutional Advancement at Tougaloo University, developing and implementing an outreach and public relations campaign that spanned all media channels. 

In all, Dr. Hamby possesses over 33 years of media buying experiences not only in Nashville, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi but in the Greater New York City  and Washington, DC areas.
